32 oz Brass Darkening Solution

I used this solution to darken brass for some dresser hardware on an antique Eastlake chest of drawers. Gave the brass a great, even finish, making it blend in well with the furniture. I subsequently used it to change colors of some solid brass door knobs and back plates. I soaked them in the solution for a minute, rinsed, and repeated a couple times, wiping in between soakings. After polishing with a dry cloth, the effect was almost a tarnished silver color – kind of a silver-brown color. They look absolutely amazing.
