This is a high quality broom that breaks down into 6 pieces for transporting in a very small amount of space. I was able to assemble to 6 pieces in about 2 minutes. This is ideal for someone who needs to transport the broom in a small car or on a bicycle and can not afford to have the long handle taking up space. You receive 4 pieces to screw together for the handle and two pieces that fit together nicely for the brush. The way the two pieces fit together is sturdy. It is very easy to assemble, but appears that it will hold together very nicely over the long haul. The downside of the durability and transportability is that the broom handle is a heavier aluminum / metal material vs a fiberglass or plastic equivalent. This makes it seem sturdier but heavier. .Also, since the 4 pieces of the handles screw together I have found that at times one of them comes loose and the handle is turning when you are trying to sweep. Overall a high quality item depending on your needs. If you don’t have a space or shipping constraint then a traditional broom may be lighter depending your preference.
