This candle/lantern wicking is nice and pliable which is necessary if you’re trying to fit it through the round hole of a ceramic candle insert. I used to be able to buy the inserts individually, and turn any pretty bottle into a candle. That’s why I was so pleased to find this wicking. As you can see from my photo, it enabled me to turn an old wine bottle into a pretty oil candle.This wicking also works well for oil lanterns. I use my old lanterns out on the patio in the summer. The light from an oil lantern is so much easier on the eyes than the glare of a LED light or a propane lantern, and there’s the added benefit of using citronella oil to keep the insects at bay.I was delighted to find a source for this lantern wicking and at a great price. I got two rolls that measured roughly 6.5 feet each. I’ll definitely be ordering the wicking again when/if I run out of this supply. It’s a great deal and I recommend it to other customers.
