so far a very good bargain—-it’s hard to tell life expectancy of these swedish dishcloths! alright, let me get to the nitty gritty! these swedish dish cloths are a very good buy, if they hold up to equal or greater the length of time of the original swedish dishcloths that i paid $6.00/ea! this set of dishcloths offers a wide variety of very colorful patterns, seemingly equal texture and structure of the dishcloths to the originals, lower price point, no smell once rinsed well in dish soap, they absorb moisture with utmost absorbency, they glide well on most surfaces! they are made in germany, designed in the usa, and packaged in china (p.r.c.)! they are recyclable, 70 % cellulose and 30 % cotton fabric, waterbased inks, machine washable, compostable, not safely machine dryable, petroleum-free, lay flat to air dry, no chlorine bleach, can use new lysol with peroxide base, bathroom and kitchen plus other uses! there was a ~ $4.00/ea difference in the price point which now i’m glad i tried the original for $6.00/ea to appreciate the savings from the purchase of these and find that you can save money and get a decent swedish dishcloth! now there is at least one concern though! i usually hate to buy food, drinks, cosmetics, rxs, and cloth type products from china! but, unfortunately usa, china, and any other countries are out to make a fast buck! let me explain, if you don’t know this already! many foods, drinks, cosmetics, water, soap products, cloth products like clothing and bedding, and rxs in america and around the world are contaminated with deadly ingredients! so, in saying this, since these swedish dishcloths are processed in china despite them being produced in germany, designed in usa and smelling the same smell when unpackaging these and many products produced or packaged in usa or elsewhere, i feel that it’s kinda unfair for me to assume that china is the only toxic inducing country with their less than stellar reputation! getting to the point, buyer beware of any and everything that you buy from anywhere! enough said, i still highly recommend these dishcloths for their wondrous factors or features mentioned above and hope to get a year wear like others have stated for the original swedish dishcloths!
